Chen Change Loy
President's Chair Professor
Chen Change Loy is a President's Chair Professor with the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is the Lab Director of MMLab@NTU and Co-associate Director of S-Lab. He received his Ph.D. (2010) in Computer Science from the Queen Mary University of London. Prior to joining NTU, he served as a Research Assistant Professor at the MMLab of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, from 2013 to 2018. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Queen Mary University of London and Vision Semantics Limited (acquired by Veritone), from 2010 to 2013. His accolades include the, CCF-CV Test of Time Award, Nanyang Research Award, and the Singapore Open Research Award. He served/serves as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV), IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI) and Computer Vision and Image Understanding (CVIU). He also serves/served as an Area Chair of top conferences such as ICCV, CVPR, ECCV, ICLR, and NeurIPS. He will serve as the Program Co-Chair of CVPR 2026.
Ziwei Liu
Associate Professor
Ziwei Liu is an Associate Professor with the College of Computing and Data Science in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was a research fellow (2018-2020) in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a post-doctoral researcher (2017-2018) in UC Berkeley. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning and computer graphics. Ziwei received his Ph.D. (2017) from the MMLab of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. During his Ph.D. study, he interned at Microsoft Research and Google Research. He serves as an Area Chair for CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, AAAI, AISTATS, WACV. He also serves as the Associate Editor of International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV) and IET Computer Vision. He is the recipient of multiple prestigious awards, such as Asian Young Scientist Fellowship, PAMI Mark Everingham Prize 2024, ICCV Young Researcher Award, CVPR Best Paper Award Candidate, and International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) Frontiers of Science Award. Prof Liu Ziwei has been recognized by MIT Technology Review: Innovators under 35 Asia Pacific 2023.
Xingang Pan
Nanyang Assistant Professor
Xingang Pan is a Nanyang Assistant Professor with the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to joining NTU, he was a postdoc researcher at Max Planck Institute for Informatics, advised by Prof. Christian Theobalt. He received his Ph.D. degree at MMLab of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021, supervised by Prof. Xiaoou Tang. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in 2016. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and computer graphics, with a focus on generative AI and neural rendering. His main works include DragGAN, GAN2Shape, and Deep Generative Prior. He serves as an Area Chair for CVPR and 3DV. He is awarded the Singapore NRF Fellowship in 2024.
Shangchen Zhou
Research Assistant Professor
Shangchen is currently a Research Assistant Professor with MMLab@NTU, working on low-level vision and multimodal generation. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supervised by Prof. Chen Change Loy at MMLab@NTU. His research interests include computer vision and computational photography, with a focus on generative intelligence. He has done a wide range of work on 2D and 3D visual enhancement and creation, with the goal of building more capable generative AI with industry-level quality and applicability.
